Q: Why do I need to hire a professional photographer or videographer when my friend has a nice camera and is willing to help me?
A: When you hire a professional, you are getting years of experience that your friend probably do not have. And your friend will most likely be attending the event as a guest himself; that will affect his ability to capture all important moments as someone who is behind the scene and has only one purpose to be there - Document your event. Furthermore, equipments used by pros are designed to be used as industrial gears thus they are far more superior than consumer level couterparts. Finally, post production of your project is the key to its success. And it is the most time consuming and challenging portion of the project. Your friend may not have such dedication, equipment, and experience to carry out the post production that is essential to a good photo and video production.

Q: What equipments are used by Sweetheart Production?
A: Our photography teams are equipted with EOS DSLR cameras and L-series lens from Canon. Our videography teams are equipped with ENG (Electronic News Gathering) style digital camcorders from Sony. Sweetheart Production's state of the art gears have great optics to provide stunning images in a variety of lighting conditions. They are well suited for professional event documentary due to their image quality, reliability, and portability. We use UHF wireless microphones from Samson for versatile and high quality audio. The latest digital post production systems are deployed for post processing of your project.

Q: Why are there such price variance between different event documentary venders?

Q: How much transitions and special effects will be used in my video project?
A: Nowadays it is becoming easy for individuals to create home videos with lots of transitions and "special effects." The next time you watch a movie or TV show, try to see if you can find the use of transitions effects (wipes, spinning, tumble away ...). You will notice it is difficult to find them. That is because they are rarely being used (if at all). With our video production, transition effects are only used for a purpose (to convey a message to the viewers). Don't be misled into thinking videos with lots of "cool transitions effects" are good. Those effects are usually there to hide the visual problems between scenes. If the video is filmed and cut correctly, transition between scenes will be seamless even without any transition effect. That's the high quality you find in good movies and TV productions. And that will be the high quality you can expect from Sweetheart Production.
